Alterations

Seamstresses:

We have several friendly, professional seamstresses who will assist you with any alterations, pressing or steaming that you may need.

Appointments:

Fittings are done by appointment only. Call the store at 508-399-5920 to speak to a member of our friendly, helpful staff. All fittings are done at our store. The entire lower level is designed with privacy and comfort in mind.

Payment:

Payment for alteration services is not due until you have your final fitting and are ready to take your dress. Seamstresses work for you, therefore, you pay them directly for all services performed. An appointment is necessary to determine seamstress costs. Sales staff cannot quote or predict costs.

Other Information:

If you have a prom dress that requires alterations but you did not purchase the dress from our store, we will be happy to arrange an appointment with of our seamstresses. A $15 non-refundable fee is payable to the store before the appointment can be booked. Seamstresses will be paid as stated above.

What You Will Need At Your Fitting Appointment:

You will need your dress, shoes and any undergarments you plan to wear with the dress. If you should require sew-in bra cups, we sell those in several sizes and basic colors. Seamstresses will have those available at your first appointment. They are $12.50 which is payable at that first appointment.
